Wow. We live in a world that can easily get us down. Some people are more prone to belittle themselves and their circumstances while others are great at inflating themselves and their abilities. For either extreme it is a struggle to find acceptance; a desire to be truly loved. For all sensitive souls that need encouragement and peace this post is for you.
Psalm 139:1-18 Message Version
1-6 God, investigate my life;
get all the facts firsthand.
I’m an open book to you;
even from a distance, you know what I’m thinking.
You know when I leave and when I get back;
I’m never out of your sight.
You know everything I’m going to say
before I start the first sentence.
I look behind me and you’re there,
then up ahead and you’re there, too—
your reassuring presence, coming and going.
This is too much, too wonderful—
I can’t take it all in!
7-12 Is there anyplace I can go to avoid your Spirit?
to be out of your sight?
If I climb to the sky, you’re there!
If I go underground, you’re there!
If I flew on morning’s wings
to the far western horizon,
You’d find me in a minute—
you’re already there waiting!
Then I said to myself, “Oh, he even sees me in the dark!
At night I’m immersed in the light!”
It’s a fact: darkness isn’t dark to you;
night and day, darkness and light, they’re all the same to you.
13-16 Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;
you formed me in my mother’s womb.
I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking!
Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
I worship in adoration—what a creation!
You know me inside and out,
you know every bone in my body;
You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,
how I was sculpted from nothing into something.
Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth;
all the stages of my life were spread out before you,
The days of my life all prepared
before I’d even lived one day.
17-18 Your thoughts—how rare, how beautiful!
God, I’ll never comprehend them!
I couldn’t even begin to count them—
any more than I could count the sand of the sea.
Oh, let me rise in the morning and live always with you!
We are intimately known, intimately seen, and meticulously created by a good loving Heavenly Father. You are loved as you are right now, today. And, you will be perfectly loved some more tomorrow and into the future. Would you like this kind of love? If so He is a God that will run in your direction with wide open arms! How can we help but to gaze up? Joy becomes effortless and hearts can easily shift to thankful and praise filled ones. God continues that praise right back to you with an embrace!
God says to you…
Song of Solomon 4:7 New Living Translation
You are altogether beautiful, my darling, beautiful in every way (no flaw in you).
Song of Solomon 6:9 New Living Translation
I would still choose my dove, my perfect one— the favorite of her mother, dearly loved by the one who bore her. The young women see her and praise her; even queens and royal concubines sing her praises:
Through God’s loving eyes, and the sacrifice of Jesus, we are seen as lovely in every part. Our imperfections have been covered in the blanket of Christ Jesus’ righteousness. God calls to you, “My Dear One, come close.”
Zephaniah 3:17 Amplified Bible
“The LORD your God is in your midst, A Warrior who saves. He will rejoice over you with joy; He will be quiet in His love [making no mention of your past sins], He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.
God of the universe is close to you right now. He is thrilled by you. You are forgiven, accepted, and loved wildly loved. Christ Jesus is so excited about you He is shouting for joy! Let’s look at this again; let’s not miss a thing.
Zephaniah 3:17 New Living Translation
“For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
God rejoices over you!
God sings about you and to you!
When we draw close He quiets us with His love.
Hosea 2:14 New King James Version
“Therefore, behold, I will allure her, Will bring her into the wilderness, And speak comfort to her.
The calming effect of God. He is powerful and yet gentle. Strong but soothing in His care. God can speak to us what only He can see, what only He knows. He empowers us with His love and we are restored in His presence.
Matthew 11:28 New Living Translation
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
When you speak to God He hears you, sees you, and will walk with you in whatever life brings – if you’d like Him. Bless you friend; May you find rest for your soul.
