God Seems Far Away

When Jesus died on the cross for our sins He took from us everything that could separate us from God. Now a Holy loving God sees us, loves us, and is close to us because of the righteousness of Christ Jesus. We are cleansed and are able to climb into the lap of the King of Kings and Lord or Lords as His dear child. The distance has been removed. We are gathered, seen, heard, known, cherished, and close.

Below are some scriptures you may speak over yourself and meditate upon when God seems far away. God is invested in you!

The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord will answer my prayer. Psalm 6:9, New Living Translation

I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Psalm 116:1, New Living Translation

The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayers of the righteous. Proverbs 15:29, New Living Translation

Don’t be afraid. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. Daniel 10:12, New Living Translation

Don’t be afraid! God has heard your prayerLuke 1:13, New Living Translation

For I hold you by your right hand— I, the Lord your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you. Isaiah 41:13,17, New Living Translation

See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me. Isaiah 49:16, New King James Version

The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17, New King James Version

I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6, English Standard Version

May God bless you with His goodness and presence in a special way today.
